1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Monogram 1/24 scale model.
I purchased the model kit back in 1986 and the model was built
that same year. I painted the body of the model gloss red. The
interior was painted gloss red. The decals were applied. The
trim on the model was painted silver. The rims were painted gold
(to this day I don't know I painted them gold) so I replaced them
with another set. There is also a missing piece to the model
(please see photos below). I was 16 years old at the time when
the model was built so there are imperfections. There are marks
on the front and rear windshields. For years the model was
displayed in an open environment. The model had over 20 years
of dust on it. I took the model apart and cleaned it up the best I
could and now the model is dust free and it displays very well.
