1970 Plymouth Superbird Monogram 1/24 scale model.
I purchased the model kit back in 1989 and the model was
built that same year. The body was painted gloss blue and
the top was painted gloss black. The interior was painted
gloss black. The trim was painted silver. During that time I
did not know about BMF. That is why the trim was painted
silver. The letters on the tires were painted flat white. Also
the decals were applied. For years the model used to be
displayed in an open environment. The model had over 19
years of dust on it. I took the model apart and cleaned it up.
Now it is dust free. The model is stored in a box to keep it
dust free. When the model is out it displays very well. The
model is not flawless. There are some small minor spots that
need improvement, but I was only 19 at the time. I am asking
